Hi All,  I have a couple of things to announce.  For those of you that contributed to JB’s Heartworm fund I would like to announce the winners of the raffle.

The winner of the Box of ten note cards donated by Stanley Olivarez is Indigo Adakai from the Santa Fe Artist Market

The winner of the first of two paintings donated by Heike Strobel is Eva Adakai from the Santa Fe Artist Market

The winner of the second of two paintings donated by Heike Strobel is Annie Macker from the Santa Fe Artist Market

The winner of the painting donated by Paula Best is Angel Rodriguez

The winner of the green bowl donated by Dizzy Lizard Pottery is Barbara from the Santa Fe Artist Market

The winner of the yellow bowl donated by Dizzy Lizard Pottery is Allena Walsh

The winner of the Quilt made by JB’s person, Gracie Montoya is Stuart Feltman.

My apologies for being kind of slow in making this announcement.  I was in Vietnam when the raffle took place and have been recovering from jet lag for the last few days.  Congratulations to everyone that won something.

With that business taken care of I have another announcement to make.  On Tuesday JB went to the vet to have tests to determine if the treatments had worked or if he was going to need additional treatments to kill the worms.  I am happy to announce that his blood came back negative for heartworm!!!  Gracie and I are very excited about the news.  Gracie would like to extend her deepest thanks and appreciation for all the help she received from everyone.  Without your help she would not have been able to afford to save JB’s life.  He still has to take it easy for a couple more weeks while his heart is healing but after that he can slowly start exercising again and get back to being an normal healthy dog.  Thanks again to everyone for your generosity and kindness.  Your contributions helped to save a life.
